According to representatives of the tour operator Fun&Sun, the number of tourists from Russia, CIS countries and Western Europe visiting Turkey may increase by about a third by the end of 2024.
It is expected that this year the tour operator will be able to send about 1.5-1.8 million people to Turkey.
In summer, Türkiye has few alternatives, especially for the Russian market. Previously, Europe accounted for up to 40% of tourism volume, but now these flows are redistributed between Russian resorts, Egypt, Turkey, the Emirates and Southeast Asia.
